Revival Warfare
"We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places" Ephesians 6:12
Worldly warfare is to get more of this world, which is temporal.
But spiritual warfare is to inherit the Heavenly and Eternal blessings. Those who are struggling for survival will never long for Revival.
God wants to prepare His people and willing to take them to Heaven - leaving all the rest for destruction. But demon never likes for Christians to go to Heaven- always longing to lead people for hell.
God designed three major warfare in the plan of Revival. We have spent the years to know and to fight the battle and to see the victory in Jesus Holy name. We are sharing with you so that you may have the share of His victory in the plan of Revival.
1. Battle with the prince of Darkness (Isaiah 60:2)
This battle happened between 1990 to 1995. This tough battle took nearly 5 years to get prepared, to do the battle and to see the victory. This demon is the reason for every division and confusion among the Christian ministries. Even the dedicated Christians were diverted and distracted from the truth. Why? Because of this evil force that blinds the mind and hearts.
It was a toughest battle, but the Lord led me dramatically to see the victory in this battle. I don't know how to share my tears, which I shed, agony that I beard, shame in which I faced, through the written words. But all has been very real until this day. When I stood before this demon of darkness- I didn't knew where I was standing, all my spiritual ability and experiences were nullified. I felt almost like a grasshopper before that great giant.
With in a fraction of a second, the demon gave me a heavy blow- that made me to fall flat and I was almost totally defeated. I though that everything has been lost. So with great tears and agony prayed for few days with defeated questions. Soon after the demon spread the news around that entire district that Paul Solomon and his revival ministry is a cult.
With in the week, the Lord appeared to me while I was crying and praying (I learnt to pray 3 to 6 hours daily since my conversion day July-1980) Jesus spoke to me " My son what do you want?" I cried " Oh! Lord why you allowed the demon to defeat me?" Again the Lord spoke " what do you want?'- There I realized something in my heart. Then with faith I prayed " Dear Lord! I want to defeat the demon which defeated me". The Lord was well pleased and gave His powerful zeal that day. With His full strength I stood against that demon- and defeated him in Jesus victorious Name. Hallelujah! Glory to God.
Out of that terrible battle, we leant many things and we have been blessed with that until this day. . Since the prince of darkness was defeated we could clearly see the entire " End time revival plan of God". By this warfare my self was totally broken, then we began to declare that Revival work belongs to God. We deeply sensed that Revival is not man's mission but God's vision.
2.Battle with prince of power (the spirit of Goliath)
Prince of power is the reason for every fret and fear among the human race. Even slavery system comes though him. Even in Christian ministries and families this slavery system has been tormenting millions until this day. Those who have more strength, power and money- threaten the weakest one. This we call it Goliath spirit. Bib le says,
" Where the Spirit of God there is liberty" 2Cor.3: 17.
But where there is spirit of fear there is slavery.
It is the plan of God to conquer every of these spirit to experience the real freedom of Revival. We did this battle between 1995 to 2000. As we read the 17th chapter of 1 Samuel we could sense how Goliath terrified king Saul and his army. At the same time how David went against him with faith and conquered with simple sling and stone. Then there came a revival. I have experienced something like that during this battle. You can understand when you go through these pages.
In 1995- A vision from God
After midnight around 2 am I saw a clear vision. I was visiting a house that I knew for prayer. As I entered a sister came running to tell me that she has seen the flying serpent in the back yard of her house and got frighten. Then I said, " Let me see where it is?" while seeking it was not there. When we were about to turn with my own eyes I saw that dragon flying against us. With in a second I sensed that the Lord arrested that dragon and placed between my back and the shirt.
Even now it is very real of what I sensed that day. I was not terrified but bold enough to sense that the dragon is under arrest by the power of God. Then I saw an angel coming with the bowl and with the fire. Another Angel set a fire on it. Out of it there came a glorious smoke - when it was touched the serpent died and became like a dry round stick. Then I saw the Hand came from Heaven and took it out of my back. What a glorious God, He is!
It was Tuesday of that week. So I declared 3 days weekend fasting to our village church- where believers used pray with me with real life & burden. The fasting started on particular Friday. The very next day by noon- a terrible gangster came to the doorstep of the church and shouted " Hey! Where is a fellow who is a pastor? come out bloody fellow". He terrified everyone inside the church. I could sense that that particular dragon spirit taken charge of that man and brought against us.
Suddenly the Lord spoke to me to go against him. Jesus firmly warned me not to fear. I obeyed God and went against him- in a fraction of a second the dreadful dragon's power was diminished to nothing. It is very hard to explain the entire matter in words. Thank God that we have seen the victory over the prince of power that day.
Since that day we are experiencing such a deliverance and freedom in the ministry of Revival
. We learn the lesion from God that not to enslave any one in the ministry of God. We have neither slavery system nor salary system in the plan of Revival. Everyone is free to love and serve the Lord Jesus.
3. Battle with the prince of flesh
' Since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of person you have to be in holy conduct and godliness" 2 peter 3:11
This is the very complicated demon that works in such a subtle way to bring down the anointing and dedication even among Christians. It s very hard to trace out this demon. It works through relationship, friendship, affection and self desires. This is demon that brings separations and divorce in the families. Making the young people playing a game with their lives.
Under the fashion and culture, the demon is playing a terrible game even in churches.
Recently a non-Christian attended a church in Bangalore. How was the worship' I asked- and he replied, " It was like a fashion parade".
What a shame to the Christian ministry. In these last days sin has been openly exposed everywhere. But it is the time to pray for Revival.
This is the spirit that corrupts the marriage system- reason for all illegal behaviors of carnality. Drink and dance is not Christianity- the carnal slaves will never inherit Eternity. Love of money is the spiritual silent killer. Who will find out to conquer such demons?
To conquer this demon, the Lord made me to cross through many crucial test and trials, which hardly I could express in this passage. For me it was almost a lifetime battle. The dear Lord helped me to cross though by bearing the burden with patients. Without conquering this - it is very hard to see one heart and one mind among families & churches.
We leant many precious things out this victory:
1. We should not place anything above God, which cab be counted as idol worship.
2. One should not love anything or anyone above the Lord Jesus.
3. Everyone must be careful to check out fellow Christian not to involve in any carnal talk & walk
4. For every need by faith every one should rely upon God alone.
5. Servant of God should not enslave the congregation and the congregation should enslave the servants of God- through manpower or money power. Every one should trust and rely upon God.
6. Every prophecy or decision should be confirmed with at least 3 godly people. Fellowship has to be deeply rooted with real love.
7. All praise and glory should be given to God in Jesus name.
8. Nobody should steal His glory to get name & fame even in offering matters.
9. Everything should be rooted out that stand against one heart and one spirit among believers.
10. Revival is God's vision those who blessed through must uphold the Revival with sacrificial service.
Many more things the Lord taught us to conquer the prince of flesh. Glory to God. May Lord bless you to see the victory in your life battles to taste the plan of Revival.
